…stop! Tingle Time!

Like him, love him, or hate him, it seems most people have an opinion about the somewhat-disturbing character of Tingle, a middle-aged man who wants to be a fairy.

As some of you no doubt have heard, Nintendo is giving the peculiar character his very own game, titled “Mogitate Tingle no Barairo Rupee Land”(literally translated as “Tingle’s Freshly-Picked Rose-Colored Rupee Land”) for the Nintendo DS.

A game with an interesting premise, unique gameplay, and a bit of humor tossed in on top of that(many of the battles, for example, see you engage in a cartoon-like dustcloud-inducing brawl) that revolve around Tingle’s quest for Rupees, it is so far only planned for a release in Japan.

However, Nintendo is interested in finding out what people outside of Japan think, and are conducting a survey for MyNintendo members which may help see this curious and inventive new title see an international release.

Or, conversely, doom Tingle to a more relative obscurity.

At the very least, read up a little on the game before casting your votes. It may just interest you a bit more than you think.
