Happy Birthday, Mega Man! 21 Years of Blue Bombing

Just had to get this out real quick before it’s too late: Happy Birthday, Mega Man!

That’s right, today (though undoubtedly yesterday by the time you read this), Mega Man turned 21, which means he can graduate from E-tanks to E-kegs! To celebrate, here’s a really cool video that shows off Mega Man facing off against an iconic enemy from the series, using every single weapon ever. Well, almost; I think he left out the Super Mega Man adapter.

This occasion also marks 15 years of his “futuristic cousin,” Mega Man X, and 11 years of MegaMan Legends, for which many of us are still eagerly awaiting a new entry.

Rock on, Mega Man. And congratulations to Keiji Inafune, Capcom, and everyone responsible for keeping Mega Man rolling and Dr. Wily running these past 21 years. Here’s hoping we see many more.
